Scala Bolzano Located close to the center of Bolzano, the Scala hotel is housed in the ancient coach station and inn Gasthof "an der Stiegen", reconstructed in 1898 when the Jugendstil front was build and the whole complex was enlarged to accommodate the growing stream of German tourists flocking to Bolzano. Walking along Via Beda-Weber, near the hotel, guests will find the quiet Oswaldweg which leads through a residential zone to the St. Oswald promenade, ideal for a short walk or for jogging. In a 10 minute drive you will reach the Summertime resort of the Renon high plateau, where you will enjoy the amazing mountain panorama. The hotel features elegant and quiet rooms equipped with a private bathroom with shower, hair dryer, mini-bar, and TV. Superior double rooms are fitted also with air conditioning, balcony or parquets. The ones located on the higher floors are offering a spectacular view of the surrounding wine hills. Dining and relaxation: Large swimming pool Fantastic garden, where guests will find rest in the shadows of ancient trees. There are inviting sitting areas to relaxed and enjoy drinks. The Scala is situated conveniently only 5-10 minutes on foot from the historic center of Bolzano. Literally around the corner guests will find the Renon cablecar. Directions By car: A22 Brennero motorway, exit nord: Turn imediately right and carry on straight for 700 meters – at the cross roads turn towards Rencio – Pass the suburb Rencio and take the first on the right after the city sign Bolzano-Bozen. A22 Brennero motorway, exit south: Head towards the station/city centre passing Piazza Verdi – Pass the station square and then take the first on the left, the the second on the right – then always straight passing Piazza Dogana until you reach Via Brennero.
