Croce di Malta Hotel Florence

The hotel is housed in the old Suore della Caritŕ (Sisters of Charity) convent, which offered hospitality to Florence’s "poor, virtuous maidens". The convent was built on a pre-existing building from Roman times. Marble sculptures and relieves date back from this period, as well as a splendid columns decorated with an Ionic capitals that can still be admired today in various areas of the hotel. Its structure is a harmonious fusion of Tuscan renaissance forms and contemporary architectural design.

The hotel offers 98 rooms decorated according to the canons of classic elegance, where the furniture is the result of meticulous handcrafted workmanship and the hand-painted panels are reminiscent of Tuscan works of art from the 15th and 16th centuries.
Rooms are equipped with a bathroom, satellite TV, mini-bar, direct dial telephone and fast connection to the Internet and offer views of the green inner garden or of the romantic panorama.
The hotel features also 15 suites laid out on two floors. Most of the rooms in the upper floors have a small private balcony.
Guests may request access to the panoramic terrace for outdoor breakfast.

It is possible for the car to be picked up at the hotel for storage at one of the car parks selected by the hotel. The three conference rooms are comfortable and unique due to the design and decorations executed by skilful Tuscan craftsmen. Also, upon request, the most modern audiovisual system and secretarial services may be provided.
