This old, aristocratic, XVII century villa stands on the seafront of Sestri Levante, a few yards only from the beautiful sea of the Gulf of Tigullio and is surrounded by a park. The prestigious Genoese residence was converted into a quiet and very comfortable elegant luxury hotel in 1947.

The hotel offers 95 rooms equipped with a direct-dial telephone, satellite television, Internet access, mini-bar and modern private bathrooms with hair dryers, excellent toiletry sets; terrycloth robe and slippers. The guests receive hospitality basket of fresh fruit and free daily newspaper in the language of their choice.

Amenities available to guests include a bar, heated swimming pool, private beach and parking area. The Il Parco restaurant specializes in Ligurian dishes and fish straight from the sea. In the morning buffet breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the park and beach.

Location

The hotel is located in Sestri Lavente, close to the sea. Coming by car from the north and west, get to Genova, then take the A12 highway direction Livorno, exit "Sestri Levante", then drive towards the centre and follow the indications for the tourist harbor (Porticciolo) or for the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi, Viale Rimembranza 1. The Hotel is reachable from the railway station with a ten minute walk, through Viale Roma, Piazza Italia, Viale Mazzini, Piazza S. Antonio, Via XX Settembre and Viale Rimembranza.
