Located in a strategic place among the Duomo, La Scala Opera House and the elegant stores of Via Monte Napoleone, the hotel gives the impression of being a private home, while the lounges that recalls the ancient English abodes, espouse the efficiency and professionalism of today. On entering the traditional swing doors one is immediately enveloped by a blend of warm cherry wainscoting, precious fabrics from across the English channel, huge carpets with floral design especially woven on looms made to measure, and rich window hangings which create a pleasant barrier with the outside. The hotel offers 105 rooms and 4 suites tastefully decorated to meet the expectation of our guests. For the wall coverings of the rooms some of which enjoy a spectacular view of the spires of the Duomo, we have chosen silks of different shades and patterns, which, coordinated, with the various motives of the décor, render each room different. Precious Italian marbles have been selected to cover floors and walls of all bathrooms. On the first floor conferences facilities up to 80 people are idea for the success and privacy of a meeting. The meeting rooms include following equipment: microphones, overhead projector, slide projector, screen, flip chart, videotape VHS. Fitness club, "Le Sirenuse," with its water-massage tub, techno gym, sauna, Turkish bath, and relaxation area, is available free of charge to all our guests, to tone up body and mind. Completing our hotel's facilities is a covered, heated pool on the top floor, with a marvelous view of the spires of the Duomo. In the summer there is also a spacious solarium. The "Visconteo" bar and lounge are a fashionable meeting point in the city center. Renowned restaurant "Canova," a favorite among the Milanese that remains open for after-theatre diners, offers a cleverly reconsidered and elegantly served Mediterranean cuisine with a vast selection of wines.
