The hotel tradition of the Todeschini thermal establishment, one of the oldest of Abano Terme, began in the 1700's when the noble Padovani and Lombardi who knew and appreciated the therapeutic properties of the thermal water and the mud, stayed here. However these were already famous in the ancient Roman times. Set in a quiet spot surrounded by a large park, the hotel boasts 171 rooms equipped with air conditioning, heating, bath or shower, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, color satellite TV, video, mini bar, and safe deposit box. Amenities available to guests include facilities for physically disabled guests, elegant lounges, bar, game rooms, TV rooms, and restaurant serving International cuisine. The Hotel Savoia provides 2 big thermal pools: an indoor one of 240 m2 linked to the outside one of 360 m2. In the indoor pool there are four small openings for the hydro-massage and two sections of hydro-massage in the outdoor one with water jets and compressed air. Three waterfalls complete the pools. Other hotel features include gymnasium, fitness center, sauna, solarium, and beauty salon. Apart from the fitness room where the guests can train on their own or with the trainer, the Hotel Savoia offers bicycles and mountain-bikes for the guests to rent and two tennis courts. The hotel accepts all major credit cards.
