Recently built 200 m from the sea, in the center of Sperlonga,
an enchanting tourist resort on the coast of Latium,
the Virgilio Grand Hotel consists of a three-building complex furnished in a perfect modern style.
Sperlonga is a renowned tourist resort overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea in one of the most scenic stretches of the Riviera of Ulysses, namely the territory that extends from the Circeo promontory to Gaeta.
The historical centre, which opens onto the sea, appears as
a fascinating tangle of houses crossed by long stairways, flights of small arches in between narrow alleys, and enchanting panoramic views of the sky and the sea.
The other section of the beach - eastward-bound and full of atmosphere
- hosts the archaeological site connected with the remains of the Roman site known as
the Villa of the Emperor Tiberius and the nearby grotto (whose finds are displayed in the adjacent National Archaeological Museum).
This section also includes the Blue Oasis of Tiberius' Villa.
Another point of attraction of Sperlonga is represented by the two lakes,
the Lungo Lake and the St. Puoto Lake, where it is possible to practice water skiing.
During each of the past six years the sea of Sperlonga has been given the award of the "European Blue Flag".
The Virgilio Grand Hotel features 72 standard and superior rooms.
Some rooms are suitable for the disabled.
